Carol Greenwood, a native of Montreal, completed her PhD in Nutrition at the University of Toronto and a post-doctoral fellowship at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  

She is currently a Senior Scientist at the Rotman Research Institute at the Baycrest Centre; as well as Professor in the Department of Nutritional Sciences, University of Toronto. As Canada’s leading expert in nutrition and brain health, she has examined the relationship between diet and brain function throughout her career, with a focus on dietary factors which modulate cognitive function with aging.

Recently, she co-authored Mindfull: Over 100 Delicious Recipes for Better Brain Health, which ties together her research on the science of nutrition and brain health and translates it into “what it would look like when people sit down at their dining room table.”
