On February 27, 2015, CBC News Network interviewed Registered Dietitian Sue Mah on gluten myths, in conjunction with their War on Wheat investigative report. Sue noted that wheat is fine for 90% of the population and that the gluten-free diet is not a healthier way of eating if you do not have Celiac.

Sue praised grains/wheat as they provide fibre, B vitamins and iron, and cited that removing them from the diet is a  nutritional risk.
