Kim arrey nutrition
Kim Arrey is a graduate of McGill University, and completed her integrated internship at several major Montreal hospitals. She is a member of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec, Dietitians of Canada, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as several other professional associations.
Kim works in a busy private practice based in Montreal where she has helped thousands of clients to make sustainable changes to their eating habits.
She combines a passion for cooking with a passion for healthy eating, with a passion for learning about nutrition science. Kim can transform complex scientific information into easy to understand terms. Kim can use this all this combined information to develop personalized strategies for her clients so that new habits can be integrated into each client’s busy lifestyle.
Working mostly with clients who would like to manage their weight, or who are trying to manage a chronic health problem like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, has allowed Kim to develop a set of skills that can help her clients achieve their health and wellness goals.
Kim’s clients say that working with her has allowed them to focus on their overall health goals. They appreciate her approach which is practical, non-judgmental, and oriented toward finding solutions to help them meet their nutrition needs.
Kim has had many opportunities to share her food and nutrition knowledge by making presentations to her peers and students in dietetics as McGill University, as well by writing for Dr. Review, a magazine for doctors. She also writes a blog that can be found on her website.
Kim has also worked as a spokesperson and consultant for Tfal Nutritious and Delicious cookware, and is a spokesperson for the Health Check program from the Heart and Stroke Foundation. As well, Kim brought her passion for nutrition to the media, appearing on many radio and TV shows. She was a regular on This Morning Live on Global TV in Montreal for 4 years. She has also appeared on episodes of What’s Cooking and Flab Gabs.
