Christine Lowry is a recognized thought leader and change agent in Nutrition Policy and Public Affairs with 30 years’ experience in the Canadian food industry and globally. A respected, influential communicator with media, government and industry stakeholders, she is best known for her ability to bring common ground and understanding between food industry and public health in advancing nutrition goals for Canadians.
Ms. Lowry has spent the majority of her professional career with the Kellogg Company, most recently as the Vice President of Global Nutrition Marketing, in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Ms. Lowry received a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, and a Master’s Degree in Community Nutrition from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ms. Lowry is a Registered Dietitian and a member of the Ontario College of Dietitians, the Dietitians of Canada and the Canadian Nutrition Society. She is also the recipient of the Queen’s University Business School Leadership Certificate.
